Welspun Specialty Solutions Limited (WSSL), a key player in the alloy and stainless steel industry, has partnered with Metalshub, a leading software provider for the metals and mining sector. This collaboration aims to transform Welspun’s procurement processes by fully digitalising its raw material sourcing operations, primarily focusing on the acquisition of scrap, metals, ferroalloys and fluxes for its stainless steel and alloy production plant located in Bharuch, Gujarat.
Using Metalshub’s cloud-based Procurement Solution, Welspun plans to streamline its source-to-contract process, enhancing transparency and establishing a single source of truth for all procurement activities. The partnership will allow Welspun to tap into Metalshub’s network of over 2,000 active suppliers, helping the company expand its supplier base and open up new opportunities through public procurement inquiries.
