India’s New Delhi: Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), Trichy, has awarded Welspun Speciality Solutions Limited (WSSL) a major contract for the supply of 4,050 tonnes of seamless boiler tubes made of stainless steel. The deal, which is worth about INR 231.77 crore (GST excluded), increases WSSL’s market share in India’s power industry, especially in supercritical thermal power projects.

After BHEL’s internal approval procedure is finished, the contract will be formally granted to WSSL, which was deemed the L1 bidder in the tendering process. This agreement demonstrates WSSL’s expanding proficiency in providing premium stainless steel tubes to the infrastructure and energy industries.
