In a grand celebration on the occasion of Makar Sankranti, Sadhguru unveiled the Mahashula, a 54-foot stainless steel trident, at Sadhguru Sannidhi in Bengaluru. This monumental structure, representing creation, maintenance, and destruction, stands near the iconic 112-ft Adiyogi statue.
Designed by Sadhguru and crafted by Isha Foundation volunteers, the Mahashula is a unique blend of stainless and brass steel, weighing around 10 tonnes. It symbolizes the unification of diverse forces, offering a powerful energy space for meditation and inner transformation.
Sadhguru emphasized, “The trishul is not a weapon. It symbolizes the oneness of existence beneath apparent diversity.” This installation not only reflects profound spiritual symbolism but also showcases the versatility of stainless steel in large-scale, durable, and reflective structures.
The Mahashula’s consecration involved intense prana pratishtha, making it a vibrant, energized space. Alongside the trident, the event featured cultural performances and a traditional fair, drawing thousands to experience this spiritual marvel.
Sadhguru Sannidhi continues to expand as a hub of spiritual infrastructure, promoting tools for inner transformation and the timeless allure of stainless steel.
