Sanjeev Dharwadkar, Director, Federation of Industries of India, Highlights Stainless Steel’s Growing Importance in Pharmaceutical and Biologics Industries
As industries increasingly demand materials that can support high-value and specialised applications, stainless steel continues to play an important role across sectors, including pharmaceuticals and biologics, believes Sanjeev Dharwadkar, a pharmaceutical industry veteran with four decades of experience.
Speaking at the Virgo * ISSDA Strategic Partnership Announcement for Global Stainless Steel Expo, Dharwadkar highlighted the relevance of the platform for the stainless steel industry and its potential to address sector-specific requirements. Having participated in the third edition of the event and served as a speaker in earlier editions, he described the platform as meaningful for the industry.

He also highlighted his involvement as a member of national and industry committees, giving him a closer view of the sector and its evolving requirements.
