Larsen & Toubro’s (L&T) Heavy Engineering division has won new contracts worth between ₹1,000 crore and ₹2,500 crore, the company said in a filing to the BSE. The latest orders cover sectors such as natural gas, petrochemicals, fertilisers, and nuclear energy. These projects further strengthen the company’s growing global presence and reflect steady demand across multiple industries. Stainless steel has been the main focus in its recent domestic orders.

The company has received an order for four 2RK65 stainless steel heat exchangers for a 3 million tonnes per annum PTA project in Dahej, Gujarat. These exchangers use special stainless steel materials for better strength and corrosion resistance. They also help in improving heat transfer in tough industrial conditions. This order shows how stainless steel is becoming more important in India’s process industries. It also highlights L&T’s skill in handling complex projects and advanced engineering needs.

Overseas, L&T continues to make progress. It will supply vessels for an NGL fractionator project and a cartridge for a Blue Ammonia project in Louisiana, United States.  In Mexico, the company has won orders for ammonia and urea processing equipment for two fertiliser plants.

L&T will supply critical heat exchangers for replacement use in Brazil. In Saudi Arabia, it has been chosen to provide equipment for a refinery and petrochemical complex. This includes upgrades to the HOFCC reactor and regenerator, helping L&T strengthen its position in the Middle East’s energy market.

L&T has also received new orders in the nuclear power sector in India and abroad. These highlight its advanced manufacturing and engineering capabilities.
