Jindal Stainless launches Independence Day song celebrating India’s spirit of progress and unity

Jindal Stainless has launched a special Independence Day song, performed by students and employees, celebrating India’s spirit of unity, innovation and resilience.

Jindal Stainless has unveiled an original song in celebration of Independence Day, highlighting the collaborative and progressive spirit of the nation. Performed by students from Vidya Devi Jindal School and O P Jindal Modern School in Hisar, Haryana, the song reflects the pride and joy of being Indian while envisioning a nation grounded in the stainless values of unity, innovation and resilience.

Commenting on the video, Sonal Singh, Head, Corporate Communications, said, “This video is a tribute to India’s rich diversity and its unwavering commitment to holistic growth, centred on building a corrosion-free nation. The song embodies the values of determination, perseverance and progress that resonate deeply with both Jindal Stainless and India’s journey towards success. It’s a heartfelt homage to the dedication, passion and innovative spirit of all Indians, who are the true pillars of our nation’s remarkable achievements. At Jindal Stainless, we take immense pride in contributing to and being shaped by India’s ongoing march towards progress.”

Founded in 1970, Jindal Stainless was established to promote self-reliance in India’s stainless steel consumption by reducing the need for imports. In the early 1990s, with India’s stainless steel demand at only 0.25 million tonnes, the kitchenware sector accounted for nearly 85 per cent of this consumption. Recognising the vast potential of stainless steel, Jindal Stainless has played a pivotal role in expanding the metal’s applications across diverse sectors. Today, with India’s stainless steel consumption surpassing 4 million tonnes, and only 40 per cent attributed to kitchenware, Jindal Stainless has been a key driver of this transformation.

This song serves as an ode to the swadeshi dream of India’s founding fathers and pioneering entrepreneurs. The video not only features the talented students performing the song but also showcases Jindal Stainless employees, symbolising the company’s deep connection with the nation. As India celebrates its 78th Independence Day, this song by Jindal Stainless proudly reflects on the values that have defined its ethos and success, intricately woven into the fabric of India’s growth story.
