With Jindal Stainless Ltd. putting forward an investment of Rs 42,886 crore to build one of Maharashtra’s largest stainless steel factories, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis hailed a significant boost to the state’s economic landscape. The project is anticipated to generate 15,500 job opportunities and have a production capacity of 4 million tonnes per annum (MTPA).
During their meeting, Fadnavis thanked Jindal Stainless Ltd Chairman Ratan Jindal for the company’s faith in Maharashtra’s investment climate. In order to guarantee the project’s early completion, he pledged the state government’s full support.
The Chief Minister met separately with Pirojsha Godrej, the Godrej Industries Group’s executive vice chairman. The conversations centred on using Godrej’s 128-year history to work together on projects involving women’s empowerment, advanced urban development, and agricultural value chains using creative financial inclusion methods.
