The “Desh ka Dabba” lunchbox from Borosil is made of stainless steel and is intended to satisfy the daily needs of rural India. It retains the freshness, warmth, and home-cooked love of food.
Borosil has introduced its new Superb Stainless Steel Lunch Box set, affectionately called “Desh ka Dabba”, to commemorate home-cooked meals and everyday convenience while catering to the particular requirements of rural India. The product was unveiled by celebrity chef Harpal Singh Sokhi at the launch, which took place at a special event at the ITC Grand Bharat in Gurugram.
The new stainless steel lunch box set, which comes with a durable water bottle, a useful lunch bag, and steel containers, is designed to guarantee freshness, warmth, and spill-free meals. Those who commute long distances with a home-packed lunch will find it ideal due to its lightweight design, easy cleaning, and leak-resistant covers.
Inspired by “Ghar ka Khana”, it was constructed for Bharat.
The lunchbox was created with authentic Indian cuisine in mind, featuring sections that perfectly divide rice, sabzi, and dal, preserving flavours without blending. Borosil Ltd.’s AVP of marketing, Ms Barnali Shankar, highlighted the product’s emotional significance by stating that it is more than simply a container; it is a representation of cosiness, love, and custom. “Every ‘Desh ka Dabba’ serves as a gentle reminder of the love and comfort that come from cooking at home,” she remarked.
This view was voiced by chef Harpal Singh Sokhi, who emphasised the importance of eating a fresh and well-organised meal, particularly when travelling. He said, “You know—the food is just the way you packed it—from the first bite.”
