CGSSC launches skilling in stainless steel participant handbook

The Capital Goods Skill Council (CGSSC) launched its first skilling handbook for stainless steel sector in India at the Indian Houseware Show 2024, Bengaluru.

The Capital Goods Skill Council (CGSSC) has been playing a crucial role in bridging the gap in skilling across different industries by creating a vibrant eco-system for quality training and skill development. CGSSC announced its first initiative in skilling for the stainless steel sector in India with the launch of the Participant Handbook for the stainless steel kitchenware manufacturing sector. Created with the purpose of encouraging training and upskilling within the sector, the Participant Handbook includes a module to upskill stainless steel kitchenware manufacturing. This initiative fell under the auspices of the Stainless Academy, powered by Jindal Stainless.

This initiative aims to elevate the skill standards, thereby boosting productivity and quality within the sector. The collaboration between CGSSC and Jindal Stainless underscores a commitment to fostering a skilled workforce that can meet the evolving demands of the global market.

A not-for-profit organisation registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860, CGSSC has been promoted by Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and Department of Heavy industries (DHI), Government of India, with financial support by National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC). The supporting organisations include leading industry and industry associations representing both public and private sector.
