Bansal Wire Industries invests Rs 550 crore to increase capacity to 6 lakh MTPA.

 By investing more than Rs 550 crore, Bansal Wire Industries expands its UP plant capacity to 6 lakh MTPA, strengthening its position in the power, construction, and automotive industries through high-tech, sustainable manufacturing.

One of the top producers of stainless steel wire, Bansal Wire Industries Ltd. (BWIL), has increased the amount of production capacity at its Dadri plant to 6 lakh metric tonnes per annum (MTPA). By investing roughly Rs 550–600 crore in the expansion project, the company positioned itself to serve high-growth industries like general engineering, power & gearbox, automotive, and agriculture.

The capacity of the state-of-the-art plant has been expanded to 3.6 lakh MTPA, adding to the current 2.4 lakh MTPA. BWIL has achieved a significant milestone with this development, solidifying its position as the biggest producer of stainless steel wire in India and the second-largest producer of steel wire overall.

“This facility not only strengthens our production capabilities but also reflects our aspiration to lead with technology, sustainability, and precision engineering in the wire manufacturing industry,” said Pranav Bansal, CEO & MD of BWIL, in a statement highlighting the expansion’s strategic importance.

The factory uses a number of environmentally friendly techniques, such as:

• Rainwater harvesting

• Energy-efficient machinery

• An acid-free wire cleaning process

• An on-site Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP)

• Extensive landscaping to promote green manufacturing
