Jindal Stainless Partners with NASSCOM’s FutureSkills Prime to Strengthen Digital Skills Across Workforce
Jindal Stainless has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NASSCOM to provide its employees access to FutureSkills Prime, a digital skilling platform led by NASSCOM in partnership with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India.
The partnership will provide employees across Jindal Stainless with access to structured learning programmes covering emerging technologies and professional skills, along with industry-validated certification pathways. The initiative forms part of the company’s ongoing focus on developing digital capabilities across its workforce.
Access to Emerging Technology Programmes
Under the partnership, all Jindal Stainless employees will be able to access the FutureSkills Prime platform and enrol in courses offered through its network of learning and content partners.
The platform offers programmes across Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, Internet of Things (IoT), Blockchain and Digital Leadership. Learning pathways range from foundational digital skills to advanced programmes, with options including self-paced courses, instructor-led programmes, short learning modules and comprehensive courses.
Eligible programmes will also provide assessment and certification opportunities validated by SSC NASSCOM. Jindal Stainless will have a dedicated learning group on the platform to support participation and engagement across its workforce.
The partnership also provides for co-branded certifications for eligible programmes, featuring the logos of MeitY, SSC NASSCOM, FutureSkills Prime and Jindal Stainless.
Focus on Continuous Learning
Commenting on the partnership, Abhyuday Jindal, Managing Director, Jindal Stainless, said that technological change is reshaping industries and redefining the skills required in the workplace. He noted that staying ahead requires not only adopting new technologies but also continuously building the capabilities needed to use them effectively.
Sushil Baveja, Chief Human Resource Officer, Jindal Stainless, said the platform would allow employees to select programmes based on their experience and pursue recognised certifications at their own pace. He added that FutureSkills Prime provides the company with a scalable way to facilitate continuous learning across its workforce.
The partnership comes alongside Jindal Stainless’ ongoing focus on digital capability development and the deployment of digital manufacturing, planning and analytics solutions across its operations.
The company has also been progressing its Smart Factory 4.0 programme across its Hisar and Jajpur facilities. The programme includes digital manufacturing platforms and Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PPDS) solutions.
