
New Delhi, August 4, 2026: Jindal Stainless Ltd (JSL), India’s largest stainless steel manufacturer, reported a 7.6% year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit to ₹769 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026, despite temporary supply chain disruptions arising from the West Asia crisis.
The company’s consolidated revenue from operations grew 11% year-on-year to ₹11,279 crore, while EBITDA stood at ₹1,329 crore, reflecting resilient operational performance and sustained demand across key end-use sectors.
The financial results were approved at the company’s Q1 FY27 Board Meeting, chaired by Mr. Ratan Jindal, Chairman, Jindal Stainless Ltd. The meeting was attended by Dr. Aarti Gupta and Ms. Shruti Kanodia, Independent Directors, while Dr. Rajeev Uberoi, Independent Director, participated virtually.
Despite geopolitical challenges affecting raw material supply chains during the quarter, Jindal Stainless maintained stable operations and reaffirmed its confidence in achieving its FY27 volume growth guidance. The company continues to focus on operational efficiency, product innovation, and expanding its market presence across domestic and international markets.
