Powerful Panel Discussions Mark Day 3 of Global Stainless Steel Expo 2025

The Global Stainless Steel Expo 2025 featured expert panels on stainless steel growth, skilling the workforce and digital transformation. Industry leaders shared new ideas on stainless steel innovation and future steel applications in food and pharma.

The third and final day of the Global Stainless Steel Expo 2025 featured powerful insights from leading industrial voices. The event saw a series of panel discussions that brought together experts from digital innovation, workforce development, and stainless steel applications.

While the booths remained busy with a steady inflow of visitors and buyer-seller meets, the principals looked satisfied with the turnout. They gave positive testimonials about GSSE 2025, about their experience, and about the organisers. Some companies even received big orders from visitors. The overall atmosphere at GSSE was lively and exciting. Everyone did their work with full energy. They also met and connected with relevant industry people. 

The day opened with a thought-provoking session on ‘Transforming Efficiency with Digital Advancement’.Andrea Mazzarano, business developer and sales manager at Pomini Long Rolling Mills, led the session. He was joined by Arun Menon, co-founder of Stainless Bazaar, and Himanshu Ghawri, Partner, AI, ML for Public and Private, PWC; together, they discussed how digital tools, AI, and smart systems are reshaping efficiency in the stainless steel industry.

The next panel focused on ‘Skilling the Workforce for Stainless Steel Growth’. Bhavna Chopra Sri Krishna, Head of Stainless Academy at Jindal Stainless, and Rajiv Nehru, Dean, L&T Project Manager, shared insights on building a future-ready talent pool. They emphasised collaboration between industry and academia to bridge the skill gap.

The final panel discussion was titled ‘The Next Frontier: Future Stainless Steel Applications in F&B, Dairy, and Pharma’. Speakers included Amol Maind from Goma Process Technologies and Jacob Rajan George, Deputy Manager, Bio Process, Engineering & Business Development. They were joined by Sanjeev Dharwadkar of Pharma Tech Consulting LLP and Tapas Gupta of Actini Group.The panel discussed how stainless steel is driving innovation in hygiene-sensitive sectors like food, dairy, and pharma.

The Stainless Steel Summit 2025 was attended by delegates who had a lot to take home from the discussions. Similarly, the eager minds that attended the workshops on welding and fabrications, organised by IndiaWelds, also took back learnings that will help them with their careers. 

From business deals to the exchange of ideas, and from learning to showcasing innovation, GSSE 2025 provided a much-needed platform for the stainless steel industry in India to step forth and forge a brighter, shinier, sustainable future.
