Jindal Stainless Launches ‘Parivartan’ Programme for Holistic Development of Ladwa Village
Jindal Stainless Foundation (JSF), the CSR arm of Jindal Stainless, has launched ‘Parivartan’, an integrated village development programme aimed at supporting the long-term development of Ladwa village in Hisar, Haryana.
The initiative is expected to benefit approximately 7,500–8,000 residents of the village, which is located near Jindal Stainless’ manufacturing facility in Hisar. The programme will focus on multiple areas of community development, including healthcare, education, women’s empowerment, agriculture, livelihood promotion, sanitation, environmental sustainability and institutional strengthening.
Rather than focusing on individual interventions, Parivartan will follow an integrated village development approach, with community participation forming a central part of its implementation. Jindal Stainless Foundation will work with the Gram Panchayat, government departments, local institutions, NGOs, community organisations and village residents to identify priorities and develop solutions based on local requirements.
The programme will begin with a baseline survey and Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) to assess Ladwa’s socio-economic conditions, identify development gaps and map available resources. The findings will be used to prepare a Village Development Plan in consultation with local stakeholders.
The initiative will also involve regular Gram Sabha meetings and community consultations, with participation from youth, women, farmers, teachers, frontline workers and local leaders. According to Jindal Stainless Foundation, the objective is to establish a long-term model for inclusive growth, community participation and self-reliance in the village.
The programme was announced by Jindal Stainless on August 21, 2026, with Deepika Jindal, Chairperson of Jindal Stainless Foundation, highlighting the company’s focus on enabling communities around its operations to participate in and benefit from sustainable development.
